Job Description
The React / Next.js Developer Intern will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining modern, responsive user interfaces. You’ll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and the product team to create high-performing, user-friendly web applications. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in React, Next.js, and frontend development best practices while contributing to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing responsive, interactive web interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Work with React Query, React Hook Form, and Zod to handle data fetching, form validation, and UI state.
- Implement responsive designs using Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI.
- Collaborate with backend developers and designers to build dynamic and efficient web pages.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following modern best practices.
- Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and product improvements.
- Test and debug frontend components for performance and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend tools, libraries, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
- Basic experience with React.js and Next.js (including SSR, CSR, and ISR concepts).
- Familiar with React Query, React Hook Form, React Table, and Zod for efficient UI and data handling.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture and reusable UI development.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI for building modern, responsive layouts.
- Understanding of state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and write clean, maintainable code.
- Good communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
- Basic understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of API integration, debugging tools, and version control systems.
- Understanding of component-driven design and frontend architecture.
- Prior experience with React or Next.js projects (personal or academic) is a plus.
